Hi, I'm Jessalyn the owner of Bold Hearts Studio. I decided to start my own blog because I wanted to share my knowledge beyond behind the chair. This blog is for my clients when they're not sitting in my chair and for anyone looking for hair care advice. My goal is to give people the knowledge so they can gain confidence in taking care of their hair. I am going to get rid of the guessing game of what to do and give you all the answers.
About Me & Bold Hearts
I am a hairstylist and Bold Hearts is a single chair hair salon that is located in Sola Salons in Portsmouth NH. I went to hair school right after high school and I have loved it ever since. Becoming a hairstylist has been so much more then just learning how to do hair. For me it has been about learning how to empower people through hair care. It is one thing to do someones hair and make them feel good. I enjoy making people feel good but what really makes all the difference is showing them how to do their hair. When a client leaves my chair with the knowledge of how to style their hair it is exciting because I can't wait to hear how it went at their next appointment. Being able to achieve the look you want at home makes you want to spend time on your hair. The more time you spend on yourself the better you feel about yourself!

My first post should of been this but I was just so excited about sharing I got right into it. I started by writing about how often you should wash your hair and tips on how to go longer between washes. Read blog post.
My next post is going to be about hair masks. Help me come up with more post ideas by letting me know what you want to read about in the comments.
